Bert S. Lechner is a cosmic horror author on the autism spectrum. Born and raised in the area around San Francisco, California, he studied music at the University of Puget Sound and worked as a wine specialist and IT technician before pursuing his long time dream of becoming an author in 2022. Bert's writing takes inspiration from authors such as Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, and HP Lovecraft, as well as from his experiences as a survivor of intimate partner violence and his mental health challenges as a person on the autism spectrum. When not writing, he can be found cooking, baking, hanging out with cats, and playing video games.
